Arriving in Polynesia transformed my life and my art. The islands’ deep spirituality, harmony with nature, and vibrant living traditions became a profound source of inspiration. It was here that I had the privilege to be initiated into the art of Polynesian tattooing — specifically Marquesan (Patutiki) and Society Islands styles — under the mentorship of Patu M.

Later, I refined my techniques alongside esteemed tattoo elders in several renowned tattoo studios, learning to combine technical precision with the sacred symbolism of this ancestral art.

Preserving and Sharing Polynesian Heritage Through Tattoo

Today, as a tattoo artist specializing in Polynesian tattoo art, my mission is to preserve, honor, and reimagine ancestral traditions. In Polynesia, the role of the tattoo artist extends far beyond aesthetic creation — it is deeply tied to the transmission of cultural identity, personal expression, and collective heritage.

From my studio in Papeete, each tattoo I design is a reflection of this philosophy — a fusion of beauty, identity, and respect for tradition. Every piece I create becomes part of a living lineage, linking the wearer to their story and to the spirit of Polynesia.
